At Granart, all of our colourback glass is painted in house. We have a dedicated painter who paints all our glass from scratch.
We also provide colour matching services. If you have a colour in mind and want to use that colour as you Splashbacks we will match the colour up for you.
Our painter has a fine eye for colour matching and dare to say it, he is probably the best painter in Perth.
Colour matching is not as easy as taking your colour and applying it on the back of the glass. We cannot use your general paints for glass, we use glass specific paints.
Your general paints will never stick on to glass and will start to delaminate over time. We guarantee all our painting for 10 years.
With colour matching we also need to counter act the natural tinge the glass has, as in the PICTURE glass comes in 2 different Tinges.
1st is Standard Glass which has a green tinge, this type is usually used for darker shades as the painter can counter act the greenness in the glass by adding other tinters to the paint.
2nd is Extra Clear Glass, with this type of glass all the greenness is removed in the manufacturing process and is best used for lighter shades of colours.
